It’s finally happening, after almost a decade of wait, Rockstar has finally and officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will be launched soon, and the first trailer for the game will debut in December.
Unlike, Grand Theft Auto V, this time around, Rockstar might release GTA 6 on both PC and next-gen consoles i.e. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at the same time. Furthermore, GTA 6 will become the first GTA in the series to have a female protagonist.

At the time of writing this article, not much information is available about the actual release date of the game but according to some trustworthy sources, GTA VI might launch as early as Q3 2024.
For those unaware, GTA V has sold more than 185 million copies after first launching on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. It’s expected that GTA VI will surpass the sale numbers of GTA V by a huge margin within a year of launch.
Earlier, this year, GTA VI under development footage was also leaked further confirming that the game is just around the corner.
